- You can wash your diapers with any other textiles, it's not necessary to wash them separately.
|
- Do not store the used diapers for more than 2 days because mold or bacteria could damage the fabrics
|
- We recommend to cold rinse with spin first to rinse out the urine. Do not use any detergent in this rinse cycle.
|
- We do not recommend using pre-washing cycle because it is not usually finished by spinning and a part of the soiled water remains in the main cycle.
|
- After the initial rinse cycle, wash the diapers at 60 degrees C. Washing at lower temperature is not sufficient for bacteria removal and proper cleanliness. Improperly washed diapers can cause skin irritation and shorten the lifespan of the fabrics.
|
- Do not wash at lower temperatures than 60, it is not gentler to the diapers. Also, do not wash at higher temperatures because it's not any more efficient and it can damage the elastics or PUL.
|
- Use any common washing detergent. There is no need to use a detergent intended for babies.
|
- Do not use homemade liquid or powder mixtures. It usually causes mineral and detergent build-up, harming both the washing machine and your diapers.
|
- If you feel like prepping the stains somehow before washing, try using gall soap before putting the diaper in the pail. It's not necessary, though.
|
- Do not use any bleach (chlorine or oxygen), especially not directly on the stain. Do not scrub the stains with anything. Do not use fabric conditioner.
|
- Use a regular washing cycle with enough water and at least a double rinse. Spin at max. rpm.
|

Do not overfill the washing machine. It should only be approx. ⅔ full. The diapers are much more absorbant than regular laundry so you have to wash fewer diapers to have enough water in the cycle. Not enough water causes stink and build-up issues. For the same reason, do not use ECO programmes that save water.

- Line dry the diapers to save the environment. As a bonus, sun removes stains very well. You can also tumble dry to get super soft diapers, especially in hard water areas.

|
- Store the diapers loosely.
|
- Do not iron the diapers. Do not store the diapers in vacuum bags.
|
